Good News Carrier USDOT 2135514 - Lemont, Illinois Trucking Company
Okay, this pretty much explains it, IMHO. They are going to Fleece you, man. They don't OWN any tractors or trailers. 12 in operation, leased thru landstar for brokerage. Middleman lease gig.
Let us know, but I'd walk. That's why they don't have any of their own 'SAFETY' info, methinks.

I've never seen one of these trucks before
I run in and out of Lemont frequently.
Probably a newly renamed co.
Chicago and 1099 do not mix very well.
I wouldn't give them a second thoughtHalpinUout, Luke628 and G13Tomcat Thank this. -
You've been around long enough yourself, LoL!
Have you ever looked at Transport National for open deck / HH ???? They've got a terminal here in Cincy; not sure if out by you, though. I'm not a deck guy, but for a few jersey barriers to get me thru the winter; I pull asphalt.
I DO know of a company based out of Lemont, called Fab Express... if you want to keep looking further, for decent money, no (or not much) OTR, etc. They haul within Ohio and the Ginnies. -
Thanks for the input, @slim shady ... I'm pretty much in agreement with you << man....slim shady Thanks this. -
The info ive found says tbeyve been arpund 5 years, does that mean theyre any good ? Heck no lol. But i figure why not, ill make the drive ive got a couple weeks i can spare. Worst case theyre just as bad as everyone else lol. When i came in off the road last year and started doing local driving i swore i was done with otr until i could buy my own truck in cash. Theyve got my interest but whether they keep me interested or not will depned firstly on monday and the. The week following, i dont bs around with these companies anymore, they get one shot and if they play games i walk.G13Tomcat and slim shady Thank this. -
Alaska fishing sounds wonderful. That’s a perk. Free pole with every new driver.
akfisher, austinmike and G13Tomcat Thank this. -
You could give them a 2 week trial period.
But most of these places you wont see a check if you quit.
Good luck to youdustin4841 and G13Tomcat Thank this.
