I searched, but could not find this question.
Can a 5'11" man stand up in a flat top without his hat? Looking at a Pete 377 sbfa with a 63" flat top. It appears to be a unibilt style too, is that possible?
Head room in a flat top?

No, you won't be able to stand up, not without hunching over.
-
Nope. Peterbilt flat tops are true flat tops. If you want to be able to stand up in a "flat top", I'd suggest a Kenworth Aerocab with a single bunk.

Thanks for the replies. I was afraid of that. I may just have to keep looking and let this one go.

I'm not even 5'11 closer to 5'7 with out my boots on I cant stand up in my 63 inch without bending some where. Mine isn't a unibilt not sure if floor is lower in a unibilt or not. It would take a lot of difference to make it work for you. My wife is something like 5'5 and her head touches headliner barefoot. hope this helps

I'd really like to find one of the rare Able body manufactured sleepers. But in the unibilt 63" that I have now, I can stand with my hat and have to reach to touch the ceiling. From the outside, without a tape measure, the difference between the flat top and rr does not look all that great. But it must illusion. Thanks.

Mine may be shorter keep in mind my cab is so narrow I can roll down passenger window while driving. But I have seen unibilts on 359's. The only unibilt I have ever driven on a 379 was a 36 inch. Bed came to front wall. lol

The unibilt flat tops are no taller, at least not enough to make a difference. The unibilts just have the wide sleeper opening instead of the square hole between the seats.
