Does anyone know if the Hazmat test has been updated or are the local DMV's using the same tests? What practice tests are the closest to the actual test of Hazmat?

I used the free practice tests at cristcdl.com and took the test in December. It was nearly exactly the same questions as on the practice tests. This was in Texas as well.

Here is the way I take the test and the way some aviation schools teach pilots to pass the FAA tests or any other multiple-choice test when the answers are published.
Read each question and mark the correct answer as given by the authority's test answer key.
Do not try to memorize the answers, either as words, or as B, C, A, D, etc. The goal is to read the question and look for the familiar answer.
READ ONLY THE QUESTION AND THE CORRECT ANSWER.
Do this for every question in every version of the test. At your leisure over the course of a day or longer read through the questions for about 20-30 minutes and then do something else. Don't try to read all of the question or answers in 20-30. Read at a comfortable pace and stop after 20-30 minutes. For me, after marking the correct answers, I would read one test and the answers and then take a break.
Do this until you have read through all possible questions you may face on test day.
NEVER READ A WRONG ANSWER.
Do the above procedure and then take the online tests until you are regularly scoring 90% or better.
On test day read each question and look for which answer seems most familiar. -

Im not in texas but I recommend you take the practice test on multiple websites. It seems like the questions were all mixed and one site won’t cover them all.
