Hello,
I see folks instructing drivers to look in their atlases for this info but I don't see it. There is some generic hazmat info but I don't see any specific route restrictions. Am I missing it?
Thanks!

I don't think there is certain hazmat routing. But its best to plan a second route for the cities that don't allow hazmat.Like Indianapolis, you'll have to take the bypass.Parts of Texas also doesn't allow hazmat.Your company probably has hazmat briefing that you must call once you have the bills in hand and they'll give you the route to take or don't take.

Also watch those tunnels, thats a major fine if hauling hazmat.

Yep, i drove through Indy just today, though not with hm.

I've hauled hazmat and its very important to plan your routes and wouldn't hurt to plan a second route.Fines can be very steep were talken up to 10k.When not sure about a route ask your company.

You need to go on the web,,found it once there is a national hazmat webb site that has hazmat routes,, search the net you will find it

Unsure about a atlas. Never used it for local P/D.
FMCSA has a updated PDF from July 2014

Remember to stop at the railroad tracks.
