Rules state you are not to transport 2.3 or 6.1 in containers that have an Interconnection. But, what the heck is an interconnection on a HM container? I am assuming exposed valves, filling ports? I googled it but not finding anything helpful.

If anyone has a good description or even a link to a picture I would appreciate it.

Good question, and I'll wait for the answer since it wasn't easily found with a Google search.

If I were to guess, I'd say it's a container that is NOT double valved.

Well, if I remember right 6.1 is toxic to humans by inhalation at least. 2.3 is Gas. Probably even Aresol or under pressure.

You are flat unable to haul 2.3 with 6.1 by Law. You cannot. Must never. Basically a bomb vehicle with a binary style payload when they combine... you can kill a city. I don't know where the enforcement stops if youre caught displaying 2.3 diamond and a 6.1 together showing what you have in there is banned. Not just illegal but banned.

Make two trips. One for each of those diamond loads.

Anything more I need to get into my small pile of hazmat stuff.
