Hi everyone hope you are doing well. I see a lot of places recruiting but was wondering how I could go a step above your standard trucking application and stand out to the recruiters? I have a clean and updated resume but was wondering if emailing HR or recruiters my resume directly would possibly have a positive effect? Has anyone had success in doing so without annoying them lol?
I have a year of verifiable experience with an X endorsement. If you happen to be a recruiter reading this, I live in the Manhattan area and have experience driving and backing throughout all of Manhattan and Newark airport.
I guess I don't really know where I am going with this post, I am at a major postal delivery company that was once highly sought after but is not looking too stable for the future. Our CEO wants to move to an all contractor model and I am a company driver. I would prefer local but potentially regional depending on a few factors as I have small kids at home.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and I honestly don't know where I was going with this LOL

Trucking companies don't want a resume, just a driver application.

With your X endorsement I'd be looking for a company that hauls asphalt. I used to run all over Jersey, NY and PA hauling that stuff. Lots of local tanker jobs in your area that pay decent, all they need is an application sent in
