I bought a new Great Dane reefer a few months ago, and it came from the factory with the new design of Grote's PC rated LED lights. The lights have 6 diodes total, 3 on the left side and 3 on the right. Well, since I bought the trailer, I've had 3 lights to give problems. These were the 2x5(I think?)rectangular lights on the bottom rail and upper rear header. The lights would burn really dim, or not at all sometimes. So, I go to a Great Dane dealer to have the lights warrantied. Heres where I really got pissed: They said I had to pay for the lights, then they would send the lights to Grote to get credit for them, then they would reimburse me. I told them that was bulls***! So I called Grote and told them the problem I was having. They were very helpful, and sent me 3 new lights and asked that I return the bad ones to test them. I returned the bad lights, and then to my surprise, about 2 weeks later, Grote called me back. They thanked me for helping them because they have found a problem with these new lights. So, if anyone has a problem with this style light, call Grote first. They are aware of the problem, and are very good people to work with, and they stand behind there products. Too bad I can't say that about the people who sell their lights for them.
