Hello
I'm looking for advise. Is it possible to load 3 Sprinter 3500 cargo vans 9.2 tall and almost 24 feet long ?
I'm driving 07 Classic (48 sleeper) with 08 cottrell high rail strap trailer
I saw some trucks on the road hauling 3 sprinters but never pay attention if they are high roof or not and on wheel base.
Thanks

I think only 2 can be high roof but I could be wrong.
I have never seen a 3 sprinter load paying enough for it to be a stinger load either. Maybe other companies have access to better rates on those? I hope so anyway.skinnyb01 Thanks this. -
You are absolutely right, they are not paying enough, but this load for our regular customer and only because of that I have to move it....
Terry270 Thanks this. -
I'd say yes to 2 on the trailer. Putting one on the tractor would depend on your particular headrack and how much turning room you feel comfortable with.
skinnyb01, Hammer166 and brian991219 Thank this. -
I see Virginia Transport doing 3 high roofs all the time up north, they do new deliveries to the dealers. They typically are using Petes with 48 inch sleepers, Cottrell 3 car racks and high rail Cottrell trailers, not sure of the model. Two on the trailer with nothing else is easy, it will depend on your headrack if you can get the third one. I have even seen them have some that have already been upfitted with ladder racks and such on the trailer, no problem and we have to be right close with our height on the NY Thruway since they check it at the toll booths.

I do 3 of the sprinteresque Ford's on my truck. 48inch bunk with cx-9 high side Cottrell. Only picture on my phone I could find.

2 3500s on trailer yes but not behind bunk. Depends on length and roof height. It will be 14ft on a regular sleeper with 22.5 rubber. I've done single wheel, high roof 3500s on the #2 position when I had my daycab and they were 13'7. It will all depend on how creative you want to get with yanking it down to height.

I'm out of it now, but I've seen 3 or 4 on the tractor, 1 car in the belly, and 2 Sprinters on the top. High roof. One over the belly, and one on the tail. This stands for high rack or quick loaders. Load and go. You can spend 4 hours + trying for that extra small car .... or just go ... get unloaded ..... and get re-loaded .... pick you battles.
