I got my CDL class A through Swift Transportation trucking school in Fontana, CA on 12/19/18. It is now 01/28/19, almost six weeks. The DMV says my hard copy should be in the mail within 6-8 weeks. I just called the DMV today and they said my DL170 application is still pending... I never did the 200 hours of training with swift so I’m thinking maybe the TDA put a hold on my application? Or swift has yet to give me a DL170 to turn in to DMV... I remember turning in a couple of documents to the DMV given to me on the day I passed my license test but I’m not sure if any of them were a DL170 application... maybe I need to wait out the rest of the weeks?
Hard copy CDL has not arrived...

None of that matters. All that matters to the dmv is did you pass your cdl test.
Pertrip, maneuvers, and road test. If you passed all three you are golden.
Likely just bureaucrats being lazy and pushing to the last second.Jcarter2151 Thanks this. -
