I had a stand up AC unit 8000 btu. Today I bought a 499 dollar predator 1600/2000 watt inverter generator. They gave me an instore coupon for 70 bucks on the gen if I bought the year warranty for 79 dollars. The generator is strong enough to run the AC unit. I have a 2000 watt inverter , it can't run the AC unit.

You should’ve bought the 4000w gen, it’s what I have, runs my ac no problem. Also no real need for inverters, power conditioners, etc. unless you are using it for expensive ### electronics or medical equipment I wouldn’t worry about dirty power
