I haven't read all this, but if you are ever trying to help someone back up, point both your arms in the direction you want the rig to go, the driver gets paid to (supposedly) know how to get that done. Crossed arms means stop.

This below pretty much mirrors the military standard...nowhere does it ever say to do the cha-cha in the circular direction you want the driver to turn the wheel, then do the cha-cha harder with an angry face when the driver goes the wrong way.
You're supposed to just point the direction the rig is supposed to go and let the (professional) driver figure out how to do that. Just keep pointing the direction it's supposed to go, keep that confusion contained friends.

If your spotter is a truck driver and he is constantly standing where you cant see him in the mirror.... get out and look... he is retarded and we dont want the blind leading the blind.
