I’ve had two go out on trucks that are less then two years old. One being only a year old. My dealer says he has seen a lot of problems as well. I’m told you can’t even spec a new truck with bendix on it through KW. Supposedly throughout the year sometime they plan to make a change.
Anyone have their own experience with that brand? Seems to be junk to me. There are several other low quality things too like clamps and fittings that never should make their way into a truck. I hate to see such cheap skate moves by truck manufacturers.

I put MGMs on my Truck, over 7 yrs ago. Mainly because they were painted black, Lol. They’ve held up all these years. Plan on changing them all out this summer, along with all my air lines. I hear Bendix is better, though. I’m leaning towards sticking with what’s worked in the past. I put a haldex compressor from fleetpride on last year. It was considerably less than the other remans. Original was a 20 yrs. old, Haldex, still worked good with 2 million miles. I’ll stay away from their chambers, though. Good to know.

Some of the ones that have the small usa flag sticker on them are made in China?

A company I used to work for had a couple trucks that kept going through brake chambers.. I was in the shop when i overheard the mechanics talking about it.. I told the mechanics to tell the drivers to stop count to 3 then set brakes because I often saw these two guys set brakes before stopping completely . That will break the spring over time which punctures bladder then.It fixed the issue with one and the other left he hit a trailer backing up.

Which haldex brake chambers? Lifeseal has 8 year warranty and gold seal has 4 year warranty. Bendix just started to sell decent brake chambers in last decade, before that they were all value line.

We use bendix chambers on our trucks.
A cattle truck company 5 mins away uses Haldex life seal chambers on theirs. They don’t want to be stopping while loaded with livestock because of issues so they buy the bestDino soar, Rideandrepair, magoo68 and 1 other person Thank this. -
LifeSeal has the built in caging bolt, GoldSeal has tethered plastic cap with Haldex name on it. Every Haldex chamber has P/N and S/N engraved or tagged on it.
