Hair Follicle Drug Testing

    A few questions:

    1. Do all Hazmat truck drivers need to be able to pass a hair follicle drug test?
    2. If so, how far back do they test the hair samples for THC?

    I’ve heard that you need to be clean for 6 months. Any thoughts?

    At present, hair testing is not recognized by the FMCSA as a valid drug test

    1. No, thats up to the company
    2. 3 months at least. If youre black itll go back longer since the hair grows slower from what ive read

    I've only ever done mouth swabs at most, and even that I'm not happy with because of they chance they might record my DNA.

    I accidentally ate some cereal that contained organic hemp seeds and am concerned about taking a pre employment hair follicle test next week.
