Saw a commercial on you tube and would like to try this product. Will the hemp ingredient cause me to fail a drug test?

Hemp plants and marijuana plants are both the same species. Legally, hemp is defined as a cannabis plant that contains 0.3 percent or less THC, while marijuana is a cannabis plant that contains more than 0.3 percent THC. CBD can be derived from both hemp and marijuana plants.
Yes. Copied from Google. I believe its the same with CBD oil. Quality CBD doesn't have THC but some lower grades can have THC in them.Boondock Thanks this. -

Why not just a whey protein shake.
BennysPennys Thanks this. -
You shouldn't fail a drug test from hemp protein or seeds. I put hemp seeds in my cereal and haven't failed a random yet.
201, Boondock and silverspur Thank this. -
Boondock Thanks this.

They make protein powders out of everything even grasshoppers ground up into a fine powder. It’s supposed to be one of the purest proteins on the planet. But no thanks.
I just posted on another thread about this, I was using a protein powder that was hemp protein. From what I’ve read the THC level is trivial and only trace levels that would not be picked up on a drug screening.
I would think the officer assigned to a positive test (when it happens) might look a little further into your levels or let you do a hair follicle test as a follow up? I don’t know how that works. But from what I’ve read, you can consume massive amounts of hemp bi products and you’ll not test positive..shatteredsquare, silverspur and Boondock Thank this. -

Honestly, a better question is if its worth the risk? Sure 99.9999% of these products you could eat until your gut literally bursts every day for years and not flag positive. But then 1 single day some factory screws up or the product gets contaminated and BOOM positive test.....just not worth the risk if you want to drive imo.
A lot of these miracle products are just snake oil or outright harmful in many cases. And while i can understand your desire to test new products considering your having bad reactions to some products, i would still avoid anything hemp based. There is just too much risk, not enough understanding of the processes, to many people pushing the "pot is good and harmless" naritive dispite any evidence to the conturary and too much gooberment red tape to be sure anything you get is safe let alone actully healthy.
Honestly a better alternitive as much as it PAINS me to say is look for vegan protine powders and mixes. They use a lot of things such as rice, soy, beans ect as the source material depending on the type you get. -
