Before I owned my truck, I met one of Greenbelt's drivers at a shipper. They used to haul the load I was on but he said it just didn't pay that well. It was one of my best paying loads, so l never forgot that conversation. I'd like to have a conversation with them but can't find any contact info. If anyone knows anything about this company, please let me know below. Thanks

randyhanson@unitedsuppliers.com is the email listed for the VP of Logistics for Greenbelt. They are a partner with United Suppliers, hauling primarily ag chemicals. I am leased to a small company here in Iowa hauling LP and anhydrous ammonia, and two of our O/O have gone to Greenbelt. Both say they wish they'd done it years before. Haven't talked to any of their guys as regards rates, etc.

They almost exclusively run herbicide. It used to be someone had to die to get on there, but in the last year or two it's gotten easier. It's still best to have a referral from a current driver.

I couldn't find anything about them other than they were hiring for a company driver position in conjunction with Land O'Lakes.

So I found out a little more info. I was told they mostly run Syngenta herbicide. Trailers are self contained with pumps & meters and he thought they hydraulic. Most guys stay out a week or two and they do both depot deliveries, FS deliveries as well as larger farms. No idea on the pay, but they're paid well since herbicide usually pays good. And as far as hiring on, good luck.

If they have to handle the product, that pay premium is comparable to other "kill you quick" products we haul. In that case it may be a great company but not worth jumping ship for.
