Must be why 172 is so busy today.
-
This is gonna make things interesting on 41.
-
Its a crappy designed bridge in the first place, did it need to be that high? I wanna see the ship that wouldnt fit under it.
-
DOT is saying it could be closed for up to a year.
-
The last time i went over that bridge was over 1 1/2 years ago on my way to pearson vue on university ave. for fingerprinting. The wind up on the bridge was so bad my 3/4 ton Suburban swerved into another lane. When the DOT is done with their repairs i will be even more skeptical to use that bridge. I'm glad i dont peddle in Green bay anymore.

I usually go 41, the ramp to southbound 43 from the Port of Green Bay was closed a couple months ago and has been closed for quite awhile before that.
I have a picture or 3 of a good sized ship docked near where we unload at a sausage plant that is a part of Northland Meats. -
Due to the construction on 41 the ramps on 172 will be closed starting on the 30th. Best bet will be to avoid 43 altogether.

Disbelief turns to reality in closure of Leo Frigo bridge
This is a good read. snip:HeWhoMustNotBeNamed Thanks this. -
Oh boy, I've got a delivery in DePere, then up to Green Bay for next load. Should be fun.
