I have a nice 53' 2003 Great Dane Classic Stainless Steel Dry Van for sale. It's a Canadian sliding spread axle. Both axles can slide, but the sliders aren't hooked up, It shouldn't take much to hook them up, as it looks like everything is still there. Maybe a pin or something is missing, but I never had it checked out to see. After it is hooked up again, it can be adjusted to make it like a regular tandem. Personally, I like the spread, as I never have to scale any loads, just load and go, knowing the weight is right. Plus, it rides like a limo.

This trailer is currently running with Landstar Ranger, and has an up to date inspection, that was done last month.

Since I bought it earlier this year, I replaced the landing gear with new at Great Dane in Tampa, had a new deck plate installed, new door seals, new steel plates on the inside bottoms of the doors. Plus I just had new brakes installed last week on both axles, plus Centramatics on all four positions, new hubcaps on the axles, with new bearings where needed, and synthetic oil replaced on all four positions. It has all virgin rubber, the front axle at over 85% and the rear at about 50% rubber.

It has vertical logistics posts, large reefer style vents, steel roof, wood floor etc.

It has polished aluminum wheels on the outside, extra lights across the front top and rear top, factory installed, and ten lights down each side, 5 on the bottom and 5 on the top. Except for a scrape along the right side, it looks almost like a new trailer. You can barely see it in the picture. Since it's a stainless trailer, the scrape is hardly noticeable. There are a couple other dings and such, nothing bad. I wash it almost weekly, so it always looks good..

My price for the trailer is negotiable, but I'm not giving it away. If you are interested in it, let me know, and we'll arrange for you to see it, or I can send you pictures.

There are not very many trailers like this out there. I get a lot of compliments with it.

As of now, I believe the trailer is sold. I'll post again here if it falls through.
