That's a cool site. I wish they had a iPhone App.

 

The "Truck Stops Pro" app for android has over 7000 Truck Stop locations, independents and chains along with overnight parking locations, rest areas and weigh stations etc. Might want to check it out.

 

I just use a pocket sized truck stop guide and I turn to the page of the state I am in, view the interstate or highway listed in chronological order, and find the exit number. I admit I am not a fan of anything paperback but that guide is very simple to use I bet it works faster than an app and it shows all of the truck stops.

 

Well personally I think you should give the "truck stops pro" app a try, fire up the app, it zooms to where you are via your GPS location and shows you the truck stops near you on the map. But to each their own.

Seems like people are so addicted to tech and the 'visual experience' that a simple booklet is just too easy and quick.

 

Kind of like when I'm at home and go to the computer to look up a phone number without even thinking about the phone book.

 

Well it does have over 8000 locations between truck stops, wal marts, rest areas, weigh stations, cat scales etc, database is pretty big.
