Good trucking companies in California!

I'd suggest moving out of state, trucking in California is an absolute nightmare. I think most OTR drivers on this forum would agree it's a total sh!thole of a state for any truck driver to have to experience.

If I had no experience .. and had to choose a california company ... I would choose Gordon Trucking ... if I had to make that choice

Well ... for van. For tanker or flatbed you will have to wait for someone elses opinion.

 

Hey, that's an idea! Check out Gordon for sure. Their buying 400 new trucks a year for the next 3 years. I know for a fact their trying to go to e-logs and new trucks are already equipped so I'd consider that in your decision.

 

Trimac Transportation is one of the better tanker companies that runs some LG gas out of CA.

 

California is the best state to truck in.

12 & 16, CHP has always been very professional with me, nice scenery & not much snow.

Every major carrier has a presence in the state, tons of small to mid size carriers & Bakersfield is not a bad place to be for a driver.
