Well, I have tried the following.
    Kenedyne
    Ancra
    Ancra Extreme
    Vulcan

I don't mind the stiffness of the Ancra Extreme and the Vulcan. The problem I have found is the Non Extreme/tough straps don't hold up well. They tear to easily. Even if using Edge protectors and I try to use protectors whenever possible.

I like the Vulcan orange straps, but, they tend to fade quickly, and the flat hooks don't fit in most trailers. The opening for the flathook is too wide so you can not even put the hook into the slot for the rub rail. The other thing is the 2" ratchet can't sustain heavy loads. Too much pressure and you can not release the ratchet. So, I don't use them.

I have to unwind the Vulcan straps and feed from the bottom when I want to use these 4" monsters. If I need to feel comfortable something isn't going to move and the straps are not goign to get cut, I use the Vulcan/Ancra Extreme.
I primarily use Kenedyne because I bought a case 2 years ago for about $110 - $120. The are softer and fade also. They are good straps, but, don't seem to hold up to loads that might have some abrasion on them.

Vulcan straps material are rigid, but, can easily handle abrasive areas without getting cut up

I also have the chain hooks/straps as well. I actually like the the best. I can hook onto any part of the attachment points of the trailer and not worry about not being able to hook on..

Once you get above the standard 30' straps, the price seems to get stupid. $45.00 for a 35' strap. IMG_20150616_174906.jpg IMG_20150616_174728.jpg IMG_20150616_174817.jpg IMG_20150616_174906.jpg IMG_20150616_174906.jpg IMG_20150616_174728.jpg

i use US cargo. i did realize that if you order RATCHET straps the hooks are wider.
if you order WINCH hooks the are narrrower. but i like them cheap, last a while, colors dont fade very fast and cheap. i odredre 20ft straps for 10.50 shipped to my door(usually in batches of 20)
