I’m wondering if anyone has a preferred online parts supplier. I’ve looked at a few websites but I’m finding it rather difficult to find the exact parts I need. I’m not looking for accessories. I’m looking for maintenance and repair parts. Any advice is appreciated.
Good online source for repair parts for semi's?

I have found PAI to have good aftermarket parts.
Amazon and eBay are generally good for filters and such.
Stangel brothers and I think SD spring have been good for suspension parts.ProfessionalNoticer Thanks this. -

By and large just waste the dealers time finding oem part#, name and price, then use that to search up what you need... its not nice perhaps, but ill be darned if im paying kw 150$ for an amazon 45$ part

I have found parts from the Freightliner dealer usually are pretty reasonable. Not in every case but certainly more often than not they've been very reasonable for my truck. I would say probably 95% of the things I bought have been the best price from the Freightliner dealer.
No offense to anyone but other brands of trucks just don't have the network that Freightliner has.
And if you have the great stupendous incredible Peterbilt you're screwed.
They have to have absolutely the worst Parts support of any manufacturer ever in the history of manufacturing anything on earth.
And if you are lucky enough that they have it, you will pay through the nose. Of course you will, that's no surprise.
I do like to Kid the Peterbilt folk, but that's not even kidding, that is just the fact and that is just part of the belt buckle experience.
And ironically, I do believe that the belt buckle is always in stock and always available.
And I'm sure you pay an exorbitant price for that too.bzinger, Elroythekid, jamespmack and 2 others Thank this. -
As an update I just placed an order through bigrigworld.com. I found their website to be horrible as far as being able to find the parts I wanted, but I called and the counterperson was friendly and was able to quickly lookup what I needed. The parts were in stock and reasonable priced. The order ships out tomorrow.

I just wish there was a Rock Auto for big trucks. I love how you can get on their site and see 10 different brands of whatever it is you need, get the part numbers and prices and compare/shop it out online.
Honestly though, with Rock Auto, you can't beat their prices. The shipping sometimes sucks but I even it out by ordering several things at once and shopping around their site until I get everything from the same couple of warehouses instead of paying shipping from 5 different ones.Elroythekid and JoeyJunk Thank this. -
