I was wondering if anyone could recommend any good books that I could read to prepare for the cdl and going to school. I already got my state's CDL manual but I am looking for something that explains everything better. I have a very long bus ride ahead of me in January to go to school and I am looking for a good book that will prepare me for cdl school.
    Any recomendations are appreciated:biggrin_2558:

Your state CDL manual is the best I can recommend.Otherwise, just go online and look around. There are plenty of practice quizzes and such there.Don't waste your money buying all kinds of crap that is out there, you won't need it.

There is a book called How to Prepare for the CDL by Mike Byrnes and Associates that has a little more information than the state CDL book. It is available from the Wake County Library. There are also sites you can search for that have online practice exams, including some that are free.
