Which ones have the best driver amenities. Which ones do you want to get away from as fast as you can.
I stopped at Tank trailer Cleaning Inc 1102 N first st, East St Louis Il yesterday to get a load steamed up to delivery temp. Very clean place, free showers, free breakfast, lunch and dinner M-F, Movie room, free coffee, Tea, lemonade, popcorn. I still had a couple of hours to run but went ahead and took my break there.

Danny's in Phoenix, AZ. I prefer the one across the street from the Flying J. You still pay for showers even with a truck wash.
I stay as far away from Custom Wash in Bismarck, ND. The owner is a crook (trust me on this one). The wait is horrendous. The prices are off the hook and the quality.......Well it just depends on how many days the ex (and future) con has been on the job. -
STAY AWAY FROM:
United Truck Wash
3950 Broadway Ave
Cleveland, OH 216-883-0550
Total dump, no real drivers room, just all around nasty place. Owned by the same people that used to operate the dump truck stop in Cleveland, United Truck Stop.
DECENT BUT NOTHING SPECIAL:
QualaWash
793 Norton Ave
Barberton, OH 44203 (Akron area)
330-753-5079
Typical Qualawash, shared drivers area with QC terminal located in same complex.
A.J. Weigand (Now owned by Trimac)
8870 ST Peters Church Rd NW
Bolivar, OH 44612 (Between Canton and New Philadelphia)
800-321-5506
Located out in the woods, not much in the way of driver breakroom or other amenities. -
I haven't been yanking tanks for long, but the best tank wash I've used so far is Derby City in Louisville. The amenities aren't much to speak of, but the people there are friendly and actually seem to care about doing a good job. That's far more than I can say about most tank washes. Nowhere else have I had my pump or fittings cleaned so thoroughly, that's for sure.
And the worst part of being domiciled in Atlanta is having to rely on the Express tank wash in Morrow. I can live with the cramped, dustbowl minefields they call parking lots; I just wish they did their job. Yesterday I found four dirty hoses, still capped and full of product, on three different supposedly clean trailers. I dropped two of those trailers and I know for a fact I wrote up the hoses and even specified which tubes they were in. A month ago I had to take a trailer they had "cleaned" up to the Qualawash in Conley because it still had about 80 gallons of milky white liquid in it. They also seem to believe that hot water is all that's needed to clean hoses, pumps, and fittings, regardless of the product in them. -
Express at Neville Island (Pittsburgh), PA used to be excellant. They had a nice drivers room with free beverages and hotdogs and decent showers. I have not been there in awhile, so it may have gone down hill also.

Another good one is Shamrock in Greensboro NC. Clean showers, nice fluffy couches and a big TV. Not a 24 hour place though. -
Worst ones for me are Dana in Baltimore. Pain in the butt to find and the parking lot has huge craters in it.
Keasbey NJ is pretty nasty too.Allan M Thanks this. -
Neville Island still has the hot dog and popcorn machine. I don't know why, but I love that popcorn. I was there a couple of months ago and the bathroom with the shower was closed, I think they may have been remodeling it.
There is one in Kankakee is pretty nice as well. I've only been there once and I just dropped a trailer but they had a tv room and a kitchen area with hot dogs and bbq sandwiches.
My least favorite one is Express in Keasby. Nothing there and nothing close by you can get a truck that I know of. I got stuck there steaming for a day and a half once. It was miserable.
