    Ride Only?

I'll bite... Is this another "I'll make money hand over fist with LTL"?

Cooperation? what is that? I cooperate with you and I get half the peanuts in the bag?

So many posts where the Entrepreneur risks life and limb to pick up the smaller truck and blaze a trail in the LTL market.... I've been here three days and that already is old news.

I have a 26' truck I used for moving finished product when I was building race car chassis products. I have since looked for work for it being as how I already own it and now don't drive it. I have not found a single job worth pulling it off the lot so my advice is do a TON of research before pulling the trigger on a truck. I know you can contract out to XPO doing furniture delivery, wasn't enough$$$ for me to do it but might work for you, couldn't hurt to call and ask.

MY 2 cents and that is exactly what it is worth.
If you have to ask this question, and phrased the way you did, your chances of making a living with it if somebody gave it too you are extremely poor.

I know a guy up there that moves copy machines and medical equipment, but you’ll need blankets, straps and a liftgate.

The best way to make money with a 26’ box truck is to look for companies and that do route work. LTL type freight , beverage companies , furniture companies etc. A liftgate helps to make you more versatile . Make sure your
    100 % Legal , CDL, DOT # , medical card, etc.
DOT loves to hammer small trucks , they find them easy pickings to write tickets because many don’t adhere to all the commercial vehicle laws and they know it. I’ve been told this many times by DOT cops and see it here in NY State
    every day .

Let me help you out op:
You want to make money with a box truck,
Your gonna have to earn it.

Get a box truck with a lift gate.
Forget all about LTL and legitimate freight.
Spam Craigslist and Facebook with adds for
    Local moving.

Move people's stuff, or their whole apartment
From one side town to the other.
Your home base should be Las Vegas.
People are always moving in that town.

Get yourself a helper and go for it.
There's 25 of them sitting in front of u-haul every day.
    Pay them cash.
I used them myself when I was out there.

If your real smart, you'll get 2 helpers,
Let them do all the physical labor and you just
    Drive the truck.
But that's only when you get enough work.

    roadtech and FlaSwampRat Thank this.
