Never been thru bankruptcy but im assuming it just erase all your debt from car, house, credit card, etc etc.

But if you're going to file for bankruptcy after truck driving school.....you'll be surprise on the pay and file for bankruptcy again

Just my 2 cents, but this post is showing up on other forums. I think the OP is advertising their site that refers you folks who can help you discharge debts.

Not sure why anyone would file bankruptcy for a $2K or $3K loan. Good news for the foreign med school guys though.

    Trolled again!

I make great money... Maybe you need a new company... I'll make close to 6 figures this year and take almost a week off a month working for a company

Put yourself on OP shoes. He's starting off, so the megas is going to pay him .28CPM. He'd probably going to make 20-30k a year.

You can file Personal BK one time in life. You CANNOT DISCHARGE FEDERAL STUDENT LOANS.

Let me repeat that, Nothing Federal can be discharged. The Government will be repaid even if you have died. The Estate will have to pay it.

There is a alternative to BK, simply failing to pay your credit cards and other unsecured debts. The worst they can do is drag you into court with a civil suit and seek to freeze your accounts and garnish your income and so on until they are paid. There is precious few people protected by law against this kind of action, but they will suffer about 6 months disrupting of everything finances until it is applied to those who are protected from collections.

It usually is better just to pay them and be done with it, however long or short it takes.

Be very careful here, bill collectors have a set of laws controlling what they can and cannot do. This is one reason I do not maintain a land line telephone anymore. If there is trouble there is literally nothing they can call. Who are they gonna call? Not me. But they WILL call a lawyer and get a summons started against me easily. See where Im going with this?

We lent one person some thousands of dollars once. It turned out to be a total waste and we found this person and where she worked. She immediately quit her job as soon our Judgement was approved against her and garnishments soon to start against her payroll. Ultimately the Government allowed us to write that loss off in a tax year in the returns and recoup that money. This person made sure that we could not keep after her after she quit and vanished.

We been on both sides. Being chased and having chased. But Bankruptcy to us is final. To memory, a pizza owner long ago in Maryland used BK to defend himself against a huge set of Maryland charges against him related to child labor wages violations plus failure to pay certain wages, he still owes me 300 some odd dollars in back pay but I figure someone will find him and settle him long before I do. So there is that. He cannot be living at peace with half a city against him and all with hands out for the pay he owes so many enemies.

If he does his research he can do better. I'm in my first year and I'm on track to make 65k this year. I went from making 30k so a little over double yearly salary is pretty good for me.
