I am probably going to do CDL training next year and would like to know if there are any companies in or near Memphis, Tn, since this is my home, as in companies that will train until employment.
i can live with my family in Memphis instead of having to go through the stress and bother of moving to another city and having to rent a place and haul enough furnishings for the place, and pay for a hotel room until I get a place on top of company duties.
So far, Swift is the only choice. Be happy to work for them to start. Again, be living at home. I have heard some negatives about Swift but I am willing to pay my dues.

Trucking companies that have their own cdl schools, pay for your transportation to the school , then provide meals and lodging while there. You do not have to give up your address in Memphis or move your family.
You have many choices of companies to choose from.
Personally, if I chose Swift, I'd go with the refrigerated division.

Transportation to the school is provided, plus meals and lodging.
You, as a student, will be paid hourly pay while attending the school, then go to driver pay after graduation.

Roehl Transport - $616.00 weekly salary while attending their cdl school. My neighbor recently went through the school and that's what he was paid.
