I'm considering getting my CPL I tried to search some answers on the DMV website but could not find them. If I get my CPL for operating a Class A truck, could I change my mind when I went to take the test and just go for my class B on the drivers considering the class lets you drive class B trucks. If I can does that mean after a month of having my CPL I could go for a class B and still have another 5 months to try for my class A for example. Or if I get my class B but then don't decide to go for my class A for another 2 years can you get a CPL for a class A truck while having a valid class B truck? Or what about having a class A license with an o restriction(no fifth wheel) what would be the process of removing. I understand t would been another road skills test but is there a possibly of getting another CPL to practice before going for that road test. Sorry about so many questions just only have access to a class B truck with access to a tag a long making it a class A so these are all possible options but the end goal would be a class A with no restrictions in the future?

Also considering I'm not going to go to a driving school what should I be practicing for/what should i expect when I take the roads skill test?
