When I got my truck it had them on it, a new pair. Within 6 months one of them took 12 ounces to balance, then where the tread seals to the sidewall it came loose for about 12 inches and you could touch the cords.

I'll never own them again. I'm sure others have had better luck.

All I will run now is Michelins, my last 3 pair have lasted over 200K miles, needing another pair I've been shopping them out and they're about $550 per now.

No issues with them directly. Generals are Continental, same as BFGoodrich are Michelin. Love them on trailers, only have one set on the steering/drives.

I ve had real good luck with the S 370s that are now discontinued for the S 371s. Had one set of the S 371s with no problems either. Had the S 371s on a tri axle dump trailer and they wore like iron. I would recomend Generals For steers or trailer. The D660s were good drives also.

Wow!! They really think a lot of those XZA3's. Hell you can get Goodyear G399's 16ply tires for way cheaper than that in Murfreesboro but even at that they are still pricey. Mounted balanced out the door $1260 trade in old casings, I couldn't find anyone that had the yokohama in stock that I wanted after having the alignment checked out in Nashville at Tafa several weeks ago so I stopped by Goodyear on the way home and they had 16 ply's in stock, so I bought on the spot. Really didn't shop around that much, needed tires right away, and these Goodyears were a $100 more than 16 ply Continentals that were not in stock at Mcgriff in Lavergne. Don't know what 14 plys were going for but surely a lot cheaper.

I priced them (14 ply) about 6 months ago at the Love's in Jackson, TN for roughly $1,150.00 out the door, that was trading in my casings, tax, mounted, and balanced. Not saying you can't but it sure seems surprising they are cheaper for you now than they were back then. Does that $550.00 price also include tax, mounting, balance, and credit for your old steers?

In Missouri I can get out of sales tax with our ICC # and I bargained free mounts and balance.

I LOVE XZA3s over 200K miles out of my last 3 pair.
