I have the Garmin DZL and was thinking about moving from KT to Garmin ELD, haven't had a lot of issues with KT, but cost savings are always a priority.
Anyone using Garmin, if so, comments please?
Sorry if this is a repeat topic, couldn't find any recent ones on it!

I use the garmin eld. It’s got a learning curve. Everything is controlled by the phone. I used it with the iPhone app and it sometimes would put me over hour limit - even though I had plenty of time left. It would sometimes lose all records and I would have to reinstall the app. It had the personal conveyance entry - but it never really worked. It’s iffy at best

I agree the Garmin is iffy at best. More than once I had to go to paper to stay legal. Did goofy things.

KeepTruckin ... Now Middle Eastern "Motive" used to be awesome. It sucks insanely bad now and ZERO customer support.
These guys are a bunch of foreigner pric*s that will give you the run around non-stop.
I tried to order a replacement camera last November. After literally 20+ calls to them saying they're going to send it... It never got sent.
I absolutely DESPISE Motive now.Cactus Nate and God prefers Diesels Thank this. -

I am switching from motive as they cant get billing straight anymore. They are offering a discount that I had already been receiving for over 1 year. looking at verizon connect, JJ keller, and Blue Ink tech. anybody use these?

Motive is good for Dispatchers because their can view your ELD LOG online and locate your exact position on the map.
You want to share your DATA with a private company? go ahead and pay to them.
But i prefer by far Garmin ELD it is integrated perfectly with the GPS. and sir, this Garmin GPS is a really good tool for truckers if you understand how it works. -
Is Garmin registered and legal in Canada? Please site your source.
