A little advise, and maybe a lawyer reccomendation.
On the 4th of October I put my truck in the shop. I had several things repaired there the week before, some of which needed to be redone. And some additional work I needed done. Mostly small things, adjust my headlights, AC evap cores freezing up, Engine hesitation and a couple other things. When I went to pick it up on the 7th of Oct I was shocked to notice that they had wrecked my truck.
After inspecting it closer it appears it was actually intentionally damaged. The CB antenea on the passanger side was cut off about 1 inch from the mounting area. The diagnostics link on the driver side had been pryed out and the trim around the door area all busted up, and numerous other scuffs and scratches. When I went back inside they of course refused having done it. All of the damage was fresh. The CB ant as you all know has alunimum wires inside, if it were old damage as they claim the wires would be dirty/rusty. And they were clean as new. They later said they thought another driver backed in beside me and his trailer clipped my antenea. Do you know of a trailer that has a high enough ground clearance to clear my passanger side mirror and snap off my ant.?
At any rate every single job they have done has had to be redone. Including a wiper motor they forgot to put the C clip in to hold the wiper rod onto the motor itself. Loosing wipers coming down the side of a mountain pass in Pa in a driving rain was a lot of fun! The AC has been in other shops to repair what they were not capable of doing, and so on.
I ended up calling the police. The officer said he could write is up as a civil matter since we could not prove they did it.
I cant see letting them get away with vandalizing my truck and I suspect most of you would feel the same way. So I am looking for a lawyer that will help me go after them. Yes at this point I am angry, and I want justice. But more importantly I am tired of watching these shops take advantage of us, so I want to make an example out of them.
Sorry for being so lengthy, and thanks for reading.

I dunno if WiseOne and the staff will let you post the name on the board - the word will spread and drivers will think twice about using their services.
Me- I learned a LONG time ago: if I'm taking something to the shop (be it radio, vacuum, car, or truck) I always take photos of it before it goes in- as detailed as possible. Yeah, this used to eat up film, but now in the digital age.. if nothing bad happens, the delete key is just a fingertip away
Call the BBB, see what they have to say about that shop. See if you can contact other customers who have been abused.
As far as anything they almost admit to )like the antenna thing( I think legally they can be held responsible. The vehicle was legally on their property, and you have a reasonable expectation of care. Definitely talk to a legal-type person -
I hadnt thought about posting the name, I will remove that immediately. Thanks for the response. And yes I do have photos, as well as eyewitnesses.

Check with the staff first. A complaint can arguably be called an advertisement, but it is certainly not one designed to lure customers.

Get a lawyer....

Did you sign any type of paperwork prior to leaving your truck
at the shop for repairs?
If so, check the fine print.
Often, there will be a disclaimer stating that they're NOT responsible
for any damage which may occur and/or articles stolen from said vehicle while your vehicle is left on their property.
If you signed it, that may constitute an agreement.
What did the monetary damage amount to?
Is it possible you could sue them in small claims court and forgo an attorney?
Just because they claim no responsibility doesn't mean that's legal.
At any rate, good luck.

Shock - usually those disclaimers are worth just about the paper it's printed on. At best, it's to cover the company in the event of fire or some other catastrophe. One on one damage will be held to be the responsibility of the company, even if there is a signed disclaimer
