Many truck lease companies (Ryder and Penske) offer full-service leases. In other words, they include all repairs and maintenance. If there is anyone out there who is doing a full-service lease, I would be interested in knowing how much per month you are paying. The full amount.

My last job got Full Maintenance Lease T680s from Paccar. I think they cost $900 per week in 2020 and 2021. It covered everything but tires that ran over nails, etc, driver abuse, and windshield damage. Lots of shops don't want to deal with our trucks because they either make less per repair or Paccar is slow in paying them. Our trucks only got prompt service at the KW dealership that supplied the trucks to the company. Every other shop, including other KW dealerships, treated us like some difficult coupon customer at a restaurant.

I did one through a company I think the maintenance plan was like 15 cents a mile roughly which would equal abt $350 extra a week, but it was well worth it. I wish I would've had that option with current purchase uggg the maintenance sucks

Yeah I had one that was like .12 cents a mile, only way I'll ever try owning again is with that attached after this last mess I went through. But I really can't see myself leasing again but stranger things have happened

Big money whatever it is. Grand a week or worse wouldn't shock me. Only makes sense for well-established and well-funded outfits with good paying contracts that can't be risked doing downtime fixing trucks. If a power unit starts getting naughty on you, it goes to back to Penske's shop and you get a loaner truck until they straighten it out and business carries on like usual. Worked for a port hauler in Jersey for a couple years who had full service leases on all his power units. 5 days a week those trucks were covering the loads, no excuses. He owned stuff back in the day and told me he just got sick of fixing trucks on the weekend and losing revenue if there was no backup for it.
