Hello everyone,
My truck got 114900 miles on it and i bought it new truck(Under warranty). It has cummins 565 X15 with 2050 torque. I use to change all filters when i do oil change from dealership almost every 14-15k miles. This fuel water separator filter never went that much up i mean the gauge and filter itself with fuel before but now its filling up with fuel just after 5-7k miles after replacing with new one. I am rookie trucker with no mechanical knowledge and seeking help on this forum. Am i doing something wrong?? I drive my truck at mostly 75mph all the time and rpm is at 1440. Please let me know if i need to do something with the truck and obviously its under warranties.
So the truck is more then 100k miles please let me know if i need to replace anything else and i changed my steer axle tires too hahah.
Thank you.

Cummins X15 performance fuel problems, filters plug up very fastt
Are you using factory filters? Original part number?
The Davco is easy to sway micron rating? Maybe someone put it one too small. Engine side should be 5. Consider going up on the Davco to make the filter service last longer. Maybe dirty fuel this trip? Make sure the bowl is getting cleaned out at PM, not just filter slap.God prefers Diesels Thanks this. -

Sir, first find out if you have a Davco filter or the standard paccar. Most dealerships are ordering the Davco because it’s a better piece of gear than the paccar. I go 32,000 miles or a bit sooner if convenient oil change using 15 W 40 Delo XLE. I haul reefer coast to coast. 565 2050. If you’re using the Davco mind you if the level is up halfway it’s still doing its job. It needs to be replaced when it reaches the top. Be mindful also that a bad batch of fuel can make that filter expire very quickly. So you’re not wasting your money, if you still end up changing your oil at 14,000 miles I would switched to the non-extended life fuel filters and oil filters. It will save you a lot of money. The new fuel filters and oil filter for that engine are extended life and pricey.
