Any idea of what kind of fuel mileage you could be pulling a tandem running east lanes / van

Id say 7 mpg if you keep your idle and speed in check. You can get 8+ with an aero truck with auto trans. Id say you'll get at least 6.5 regardless though.

I would assume the Kenworth T680 would get the 8 mpg ?

Yes, thats what I run. T680's with endurant 12 speed autos. Fleet average is 7.5 but some drivers get up to 8.3 mpg. Thats governed at 70 mph. No doubt running 65 mph would increase mpg by a few tenths.

I only have 1 manual left but its a 680 with a 13 speed and its routinely around .5 mpg less then the autos.

A guy who runs Midwest-Northeast all the time with general dry van freight, told me he averages 5.5mpg in a 2020 one. He also said it's a complete lemon, $143k in warranty repairs already and he is getting a new truck in November.

I’ve got a 2018 international LT with an Cummins X15 efficiency series Eaton Fuller automatic and I get 7+ on paper. I pull Flatbed and most of the time I’m hauling 75+. May want to look at something that is Areo.
