A lot of the new pete's already have fuel coolers. look between the rt fuel tank and drive shaft.

If it doesn't have one its definately worth fitting, the fuel system helps cool the injectors in hot weather, the cooler the injectors run the longer they will last. If you add a cooler and a fuel wire you will see a good gain in horsepower also.

I'm installing one on my Pete when it gets warmer. I just have to find a place to fit it that suits me. I'm really considering putting a little cooling fan on it to, just to keep the air moving when I'm sitting still.

where can i find one of these coolers

You can buy them out of Summit or Jegs racing cataloges also. Just remeber which ever you buy it has to be strong to handle all the road abuse. I'm gonna go ahead and install a bypass line for in the winter or if the cooler springs a leak...cheap insurance you know.

Why couldn't you put the cooler after the feul pump (mounted in front of the rad.)sending the cooler feul through the secondary filter and then straight into the head.My KW had a cooler mounted out front from the factory but the feul after being cooled goes back to the feul tanks.
