We are a small trucking company with three trucks. We mostly do long-haul and are in need of a more cost effective way to manage our fuel costs. Does anyone have any advice? We are looking at Fleetcor, Wex and Multi Service Fuel Card.

QuickQ is what my company just switched to from ComData. These fuel card companies must change different rates for different people. When I was at Landstar and had my own truck Landstar gave us ComData and it was very cheep. We only paid $1.50 to load fuel money onto the card for each load we did. We got the Price+ discount at TA and Petro. That was the same price the truck stop paid at the rack. Plus we paid 3 or 4 cents per gallon for every gallon we pumped at truck stop.
This QuickQ seems to have very good discounts. I can see the price my company is paying because they show is the price on tables in truck and like us to buy the cheapest fuel.
We also have the RFID tags in windshield. When we pull up to fuel it reads the RFID tag and turns fuel pump on. We just swipe driver rewards card and put in driver ID and fuel and go. No need to go inside truck stopLast edited: Mar 29, 2022

NASTC, TCS or RTS (they have a new discount program for Pilot/Flying J that make the same discounts like NASTC for TA/Petro).

If you’re setup with Amazon, you can get their cost plus program on a Comdata card. Cost plus is where the real discounts are, it’s what NASTC, Landstar, TCS offers. The Amazon deal gives you .30+ off at Loves as well.
