if a fuel isle has a water hose just sitting there hooked up, I use it. Get my windshield, mirrors, windows...I'll do as much as I can get away with. Wish they all had them.

Back in the day across the hwy. from Panty Hose Junction you could wash your truck on two of fuel islands. Long hoses and big brushes.

If they have decent water at the fuel island, you will be amazed at what some truck drivers will find to do with them and the additional time they will occupy their space at the pumps.

No. You probably don't want good working water at the fuel islands.

You used to be able to wash your tractor in the fuel islands at Jubitz in Portland, and also at Mr Fuel in Foristell,Mo.

Most fuel islands have at least a water spigot, right ? So, bring your own 6' hose that you keep in your sidebox and hook it up and have fun ! (that's assuming there's no-one waiting behind you to fuel)

I always used them for the windows and fill a few water jugs for my dog.

Most truck stops don't want you washing your trucks in the fuel island. They'll cite EPA and water run-off concerns. I've seen pork haulers hook the water up to their trailers to cool off their load while they fuel...which would be handy on a hot day. It also makes it quick & easy to change out the nasty water in the windshield wash buckets because some ignorant dipwad used it to wash his truck.

Windows, mirrors, and lights. If a painted or chrome surface needs cleaning, take it to a #### truck wash.

I love the ones that come in figuring everyone else needs their truck washed. Throw the wipers on high then stand there and soak everyone and everything within 2 islands.

Or the guy that leaves the water hoses running just a little bit. IN the middle of January and you step out onto a solid sheet of ice right at the pump.
