This company is called Feed The Children Transportation and it has been considered one of the best fleets to driver for in 2013. Their CSA score is EXCELLENT! They have ony 41 trucks and one terminal in Oklahoma City, OK. I don't work for them but kinda interested... All I know so far is that they have 2010 - 2013 Freightliners, all 10 speed, with APU, Peoplenet elog, EZpass, no Prepass. Their speed is 65 mph. They pull dry van and 2 reefers. No Hazmat and most of their freight is no touch... but I saw a video in which driver seemed to be carrying boxes from trailer. They pick up in-kind contributions from corporate warehouses and then bring them back to their regional distribution centers. They also work with third party customers and brokers to haul general commodities nationwide. Third party freight is used for backhauls and in between Feed The Children loads. They have 6 DCs in the US - CA, OK, TX, IN, TN and NJ. Drivers stay 2 to 3 weeks out and get 3 days off. Experienced drivers start at .036 cpm up to .37 cpm and those who stay over 14 days out, get .01 extra cent per mile. I am trying to find more about them, the specifics of the job their drivers do, the places they go, the miles they make, etc. If you know anything about them, please share it here. Thanks.

not sure what more it is you need to know about ftc rock you pretty much hit it on the head even better then i could and i worked there for years .. and yes 99.9 percent of the loads are no touch .but there are them feed the children loads were the driver is required to help hand un load but even with one of them loads there usually some one there to help some times even more help then you need.. so ya you may have seen someone unloading a trailer .but this was one of the best jobs going as far as no touch loads .hywaychild

First I would like to say. "Thanks for all the great comments on FTC Transportation !" I currently work for them. This is my Second time with them. Guess you could say loved it so much I didn't know it until I left. Great people where your a person and not just someone to push. They have all the great benefits that all the large companies have. Plus they are voted best to drive for nation wide by TCA small carrier division for 2013-2014-2015..And Safest Fleet Nation wide. They take care of the driver and the equipment is new or like new. Great miles competitive pay. Lot of companies promise high pay, but you don't get the long miles, so your running short all the time with them and sitting. Not FTC they keep you moving. Go to their website to apply, but realize they are picky about who drives for them.

That would be the one! They had a HUGE warehouse, the old Miles labs plant, and ended up moving to a lot smaller space, on CR 6.
