So, here I sit, almost six hours after I arrived here with a frozen load, doors open backed to the dock. I have told the receiver twice that the reefer unit does not operate with my doors open. They have not yet even opened the dock door to put the leveler into my trailer.
And the last time I went in to the office, there was a guy just getting his paperwork who had been here for 14 hours.
BTW: I already let them know they will wind up owing me more in detention time than I paid them for the lumper. It worked at King's in Aurora, CO, but apparently these guys could give a crap less.
I wonder whether they will let me leave the truck here and go have dinner with my daughter???

Pull up, shut the doors, and back to the dock. When they decide to unload, they will come get you to open them. Inform dispatch you are at the dock with doors open so you will not be charged with a bad load.
PS, I hate reefers and grogery warehouses. -
Injun, buy me dinner. I'm at the TA in Tonopah.

I already QC'ed dispatch about it...as soon as I realized it was going to be a while. They just now put the dock plate into my trailer. I had to move doors because the last one was broken. And they didn't know about it....
