I'm just looking to get the inside scoop on these two companies. I got my CDL on May 2017 and haven't done much with it yet. So I'm gonna have too go out with a trainer.
I haven't done all my homework yet but Schuster 3 day orientation pays $600. I haven't talked to Freymiller yet so I'm not sure what their orientation pay is.
Schuster pays $75 a day while with trainer. Freymiller $450 a week.
Starting pay once solo at Schuster I was told 42 cpm averaging 2500 to 3000 miles a week. Freymiller I believe is 40 cpm but like I said I haven't talked to them yet so not 100% positive.
I do know Freymiller allows a cat too ride which I need because I'm single and I'm giving up my apartment, putting my stuff in storage, and I've had the cat for years and grown attached so wherever I goes he goes.
So again just looking for any inside info on these two companies.
I know I need too do more homework but I just couldn't wait to post a thread on here and see what everybody had to say.
Thanks in advance.

It would be nice if most of these companies displayed most of the info on their websites. Sometimes I just feel pressured when I'm just calling for info.

Trying to find info on Schuster mostly. A few threads about Freymiller.

Kind of talking to myself at this point but I might give Calex Logistics a try. I live in Scranton PA and those west coast runs sound tempting.

Freymiller has good trucks and good miles but the pay is awful. you will be starting at 0.32 cent a mile with a one cent raise a year. Max pay 0.39 cents

I wish Iiked Flatbed. All OTR companies should be more like Central Oregon Transport.
