I've been on the road for a about a year now, so I'm still a virgin. Driving a company Columbia 2006 freightshaker and the 12 volt plug-ins for the tv shelf and the fridge have both gone when I plugged a bad inverter in. Can one of you drivers please tell me where the hell the fuses are?!?! I've about torn this truck apart and my lunch meat is turning green and I don't know how to read. Thanks fer yer hep!

Sitting in the drivers seat...there is a "panel" at your left elbow, behind the seat belt...open it, there is a fuse box in there where you will find these fuses...(some are mounted on the panel that swings out, some are mounted to the wall of the truck...but they are in there)

You will find it difficult to read the labels on the fuse box...but the ones you are looking for are 15 amp fuses (blue)

On 04 the main panel is on pass side. On top of dash.Has button to access. Haven't driven 06 so it may be some where else.

The fuses he's looking for are not in the main fuse panel...they are in another little panel hid away where I mentioned.

The main panel is in the same place on all of them (2004 - 2007 anyway)

The one I have been driving has been real good on maintenance and ok until you get into real hill like CO, SD, ND. 470hp. No problems w/auto tranny but big gap between 9-10. And it sometimes waits too long to downshift. I have gotten the knack on when I need to flip into manual and go back to work.
No issues w/ tranny except about 100k when still in warranty. has about 800k now and still working fine. Just make sure, like all trans that you get into lower gear before you head down hills. Other than 9-10 it will not let you downshift if it might do damage. and then you get damaged.

No Way! 470 Detroit. Have not talked to anyone who had anything but trouble with MBE. Just like their cars. That's why you see so many so cheap in all parts of the country. Can't make any dough sitting.

RidgeRunner, muchos gracias !! Man, I was going back over those fuses under the dash time and time again. Didn't get it fixed in time to save the crab legs in my fridge, but at least I'll have a cold case of water by tomorrow morning.
