My check engine and stop engine light is coming on while driving. Flashes a few times then stays on for about 30 seconds but the engine doesn't die. It's happened to me 3 times in the last 70 miles. Pulled over and check all my fluid levels and they're all good. I have no idea what could be causing this any ideas? I'd like to get a few hundred more miles down the road to a shop I prefer. Truck is a 2015 cascadia with dd15 with 205k miles.

When was the last time you did a standing regen?
I have the same exact model and year and the same thing happened to me, in the death of Winter in Ohio. But in my case I was parked. I only had 30,000 miles on it at the time.
It kind of scared me at first until I read the manual and what it did is normal for a standing regen. Something is going on and maybe the sensors controlling the emission procedures are not working properly. Only a Freightliner dealer can figure it out, good luck.

The last place I should be posting is "The Garage." Having said that, I have driven many Freightliners over the years.

Freightliners CE lights go on and off all the time. It seems to be the nature of the beast.

Currently, I am driving a Cascadia. I have learned over the past few weeks that the Coolant Level has to be at the upper end of the range of the Max Cool and Min Cool level. I keep my Coolant level at Max Cool line on the plastic container at all times. If the coolant level falls at the lower end of the "acceptable" range, weird things may happen, such as CE lights coming on or the truck is unable to do a proper ReGen even though the coolant level is in the "acceptable" range. Make sure the coolant is on the Max Cool line when you do your pre-trip.

Three months ago, I was driving another Cascadia, and every time I came to a stop sign or slow down to make a turn, I would get two CE lights to come on and a Stop Engine light. I called the Service Manager and told him. He confidently told me the Oil Pump was going out. He sent the truck to Freightliner, and sure enough he was correct.

This is a Detroit Engine, by the way.

Got a good one for you guys with Cascadias ,this happen to one of my drivers on our 2012 cascadia ,driver went to shower an clean up ,truck was perfect ,came back and all lites flashing without the flasher been on also the cruise would not accelerate the engine ,well he went crazy trying to figure out till about 3 am and then gave up, at 5 am the Military truck next to him that park after he went to shower left , and all problems disappear !
the driver called one of his body's that work at a frighteliner dealer and he told him about the same problem with a government truck inside the shop that made another truck go crazy,,SO IF ANY ONE OUT THERE HAVE THIS PROBLEM CHECK YOUR SURROUNDINGS FOR ANY TYPE OF GOVERNMENT TRUCKS .
