i replaced the steer hangers only the back of the steer ...the shop checked the front hanger on the drive and they was good to go...the back hangers had froozen up in the bushing and was popping ...the shop said someone had replaced them before and didnt shim them right..cause you get alot of shims to get a tight fit....truck rides good now no popping and also replaced 1 u joint at the back of the trans it had slack in it from the bearing eating in the joint it self.....dont know how that happen i grease the truck every 2 weeks (dump) and more often it in rough work...but i just thought i would let you guys know about the freightliner parts and price and that the other company is alot cheaper...if anybody else need the info i'll be glad to pass it on ...i would post it but dont think i can be in line with the board rules...thanks mike
