    Hello,

I'm new to the forum. My company has an '06 M2 that is having some issues. The driver is telling me, that the blower motor stops working when he applies the brakes. I've never heard of something like this. Has anybody had this issue?

    Thanks in advance,
    brent

there are 2 problem spots for blower motor problems on an m2.(1)there is a plug that is about 12"away from blower motor.follow connector from motor towards center of dash easy to find.get rid of connector and butt connect wires.if not bad now, will be later.(2)fuse box under hood,lt.blue wire in green fuse box connector is direct power to blower motor.unplug connector and look at terminal,if burned remove terminal and replace.look inside fuse box cavity for burned/corroded pin also.new fuse box about $225.if all of these have lasted since 2006,you are doing great!good luck.

I actually just replaced that fuse box 2 weekends ago. I will find that connector and get rid of it. I just find it funny that it correlates to the brakes being applied.
