Freightliner Columbia 2007 no light on the gauges

I had this problem with my Columbia and it was in the switch contacts.
I was actually able to take the switch apart and clean the contacts and stretch the springs a bit and make it work again.

 

I have a 2006 freightliner columbia smart shift and it reads PD and won't start. I pulled over last night and when I turned the truck off, it wouldn't cut off, I actually took the key out and it still was restarting itself. It finally cut off and I woke up with the PD ON the screen. I tried the codes to restart it but it didn't work. On the dash the check transmission light is on and the engine protect keeps flashing. Can anybody help me??

 

did you put the display switch all the way up?

 

Hey Verdel i know this is an old thread, but were you able to figure out what the actual problem was? My 07 century is doing the same thing.

 

Have you found a solution? My 07 Cdntury is doing the same thing
