Anyone else think the desk/drawer sucks?
I hate that the table top doesn't cover all the way across the drawer. When I prep food it tends to fall in the open spot where I assume you would put pens. Then food gets trapped under the rug material.
The hinge on the table top is crappy.
Finally the locking mechanism is so cheaply made it lasted me about 240 cycles of opening before the handle snapped off.

The handle that opens mine broke off in the 1st week. Cheap.

Cascadias are throw away trucks, no idea why its surprising that a truck that is made as cheap as that one is falls apart after a few months. Megas by them by the boat load.
Toomanybikes, Straight Stacks, boneebone and 1 other person Thank this. -
I disagree. In general I like my Cascadia. I'm even getting used to the DT12 auto transmission. This drawer and the latches on the cabinets are driving me crazy though.

Peterbilt 579 has the exact same desk drawer.
Don't give me that cap that it's because Cascadia is a cheap truck.
Plus the room in a Cascadia is way bigger than the 579's -
i've never used mine.

At least you have a desk. Look inside a lightweight truck sometime.

Pork Chop Express Thanks this.

If not for the dd15 and dt12 its really only a slightly upgraded century class and like the century built with fragile interior parts.. I did like my cascadia handling but wasn't thrilled with looks or constant cab codes on display.. Ps for such a roomy bunk area I'd think they could do a better job on cabinet space and storage areas
Toomanybikes Thanks this.
