    Freight Quote .com hung up the phone on an asking rate of $1.90/mile on this flipped market out of Northeast, on the following load. Please see attached
    There are over 3000 loads in this area for today and approx 600 alarms in 40 min. OH rate has been down for the Northeast direction. So I say close to $1.90/mile. First he got upset and says who pays $2/mile to OH and I asked him his rate. He said listen closely and hung up the phone. Who is working for these guys? and what kind of rate they are getting?

    It depends on how many trucks are trying to go west. A lot of them will grab the loads going west for next to nothing or below nothing. I have never seen a busy market in the northeast in over 5 years. If not that many trucks are trying to get to OH and there are plenty of loads needing to go to OH than 1.90 is not only reasonable but even a little cheap. Either way I think Freightquote is a joke. Miracle Transportation is even worse. Some of the most unprofessional douchebags work in the phoenix office.
