When I lived in NJ they were considered a great company to work for, tough to get on with though, they do mostly HAZ-MAT so they have to be careful about driver's records I'm sure. I didn't work there but I have never heard a bad word about them and the equipment is well maintained from what I have seen. I lived near the terminal and they weren't ever in the news or anything either.
If I was into hazmat I might give them a call but it's just not my cup of tea.
    Hope that helps!!

    :biggrin_25522:Hello,
I have a friend who works for them. Their tank trailers are all smooth bore, which means there are no baffles in them so you will feel the surge. Their trailers are VAC trailers which means you hook a hose up to the unit on the tractor and you can then vacum product into the trailer. Then fro unloading you can either gravity unload or reverse the the air pump to pump off the load. This is the type of trailers you will find at most if not all companies which haul hazmat material.
FCI also has van trailers and roll off containers and I'm not sure if they have any flatbeds.
I just started working for a company that competes with FCI in the same type of bussines and we have tankers, vans, flatbeds and roll off container trailers and straight trucks. Hope this helps.:biggrin_25522:

I worked for Freehold back in the early 90s hauling hazardous waste in roll offs. To be honest, they were way under the going rate for hauling that stuff. If you are going to get into hauling hazardous waste, I'd really suggest looking into Horwith Trucks in Northampton, Pa. They pay twice as much as Freehold for doing the same kind of work.

I worked for Horwith from 2015-2017. Good company. Started with frameless dumps then went to rolloff. Made good money there. I've got nothing bad to say about them. Only left because I moved out of state.
