I just received a link from Foglinesoftware, developers of the Trucknpro Biz Manager software, that they are giving away a new program to drivers, owner operators and smaller fleets to help us get more organized. This is not their bookkeeping software program but a program that will help us to develop an electronic filing system where we can scan our paperwork and set up an electronic filing system. I just downloaded the program, but have not looked at the training video. They have been offering free video training for all of their software programs and updates for the last several years. The program may be downloaded for FREE!! The link is not available on their website, so I thought that I would share the link with the forum. I figured that I would try it and see if I liked it. I usually prefer hard copies of my paperwork, but after so many years in business, I am thinking about electronically filling at least some of my documents. As I said, the program is FREE!!

At first I was going to say this sounds like a post from either their Marketing Department or one of their Sales Force... But then saw the poster has been a member here with 6k+ post and many thanks I reevaluated that position... I could have sworn it was a Social Sales Pitch... LOL

anyway, I am doing something similar but using Microsofts Cloud and their Scanning App... Along with their mobile Word and Excel Apps...

But since you are a long standing and active member here at TTR, I might give this company a look see as well.

Just a bit cautious about sending my business and personal data to an unknown company just because it's "free"... But that's just me I guess.

    Thanks for sharing...

    Stay Safe,
    MD

I have just been busy with the holidays and having some problems with my internet connection where I have been running. So, I have not been posting as much as usual. I don't have any financial interest or receive a commission from Foglinesoftware. I just happen to have used their software for a number of years and like dealing with them. I got the link a couple of weeks ago and just thought that I would share it with the community. I understand what you mean about sharing information for free software. I usually don't download free software unless I am familiar with the company. Since I am a current user of their other software, they already have my basic information. I did not have to provide any information when I downloaded the free software. As I recall, the only information they ask, even when you purchase their other software, is your address, email and payment type. All my information is stored on MY computer, not in some cloud. I won't buy software or download free software that has my information and stores it on some unknown server in the clouds. In any case, you are welcome to try the free software or not. I felt this is something that would be of value to other truckers. I receive absolutely no compensation from them.

Oh I wasn't really questioning his motives... After I saw how many posts he has had here I knew it wasn't a salesman... Just having fun after that point... lol :)
