FYI for any Vets in the Michigan area (though I do not think it is Michigan specific) Goodwill Industries has funds dedicated to pay for full training at West Michigan CDL in Grandeville Michigan. If interested contact: jcompagner@goodwillgr.org

Veterans deserve better than anything the trucking industry has to offer newbies . Smart vets will look for a better career .

The program here is not training you to work for Goodwill, they are only paying for free schooling. Where you choose to work is your choice.

The woman at Goodwill told me they restructured their internal work force and got rid of a few positions that were redundant in their operation. They took the projected savings from the decision and decided to use the money for the Veteran CDL job training. Awfully considerate of them.
