You are an adult, and can make your own decisions, but I would be very careful about working for a company that offers this., and on top of that only want a six month committment? If they wanted at least a year or more committment You might consider.

it is too good to be true the ad is from CR England... you will also make 80k a year, have all the home time you like, drive a new truck, and drive days only... call the recruiter he'll confirm it... OR read the threads about...

i didnt intent to stir up a fuss. i was indirectly kinda sorta asking what the catch was because it sounds too good to be true. was hoping someone who has taken them up on this deal would chime in and elaborate on it from their first hand experience.

I believe they are receiving Government Grants. The Federal Government has a program called Retraining Grants For Unemployed and Underemployed Workers.

In other words the Government is paying the tuition and they can't then charge you for the same training. Makes sense from their end in that they are guaranteed to get paid even if the Student leaves.

I am not sure how they can enforce the 6 month contract except for screwing up a DAC or something but then again it is only 6 month so as long as you re not leased you can walk away then.

No catch that I have seen, at least from the refresher class side of things. Heck, the day we went over paperwork there was a loan application in everything and we didn't fill out any part of that. Not saying they couldn't send you a bill for the school if you left or got let go before the 6 months was up, but we aren't tied up with any loans if we default on the commitment. Not sure what the newbies had to sign though.

The catch is you work for CRE for 6 months....If you break the contract they put the full cost of the school against you witch is 2,995.
